About Us

Mona Vale Chiropractic Centre was founded in 1974 by Martin and Christine Gregory (Neil’s parents). It is now the longest running family operated Chiropractic Clinic in Mona Vale and the entire Northern Beaches.

The clinic has been at it’s current location of 1801 Pittwater Road, Mona Vale since 1986. Neil and his wife Lynette originally lived at the back of the Chiropractic clinic. As their family grew with the addition of 3 active sons it was time to expand the clinic and move the family. The building was changed to Professional Suites in 1995 when extra treatment rooms were added. We began providing Massage Therapy services and other Chiropractors jointed Neil in the busy practice. Clinical Psychologist Gunter Swoboda has also been running his health-care businesses from 1801 Pittwater Road for many years.

Our Ethics

All Health care practitioners are governed by a strict code of ethics. We believe that we have a duty and responsibility to provide the highest standard of care to our patients. If we feel that your particular health condition would benefit from seeing a different Health Professional then we will refer you on. We do not force patients to sign up for lengthy treatment plans. We do not have on-site X-Rays equipment, nor insist that X-Rays are taken. We don’t derive any income from X-Rays or associated scans. We will always refer patients needing X-Rays. We believe that X-Rays, CT and associated scans are best performed by specialists who have the latest equipment technology and can give patients the highest level of Medicare rebate.

Neil comes from a good Chiropractic lineage, with both of his parents being qualified Chiropractors.   It was his parents Martin and Christine who established Mona Vale Chiropractic Centre in 1974.  Neil took over the running of the clinic in 1984. Neil graduated from Sydney College of Chiropractic in 1981.  He achieved a Doctorate in Osteopathy as well as Chiropractic.  This training combination is achieved by very few practitioners.   He completed his Acupuncture training in 1984 which culminated with a training visit to China.  Neil is trained in all Chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Activator, Gonstead, SOTO and AK.  He is also a SCENAR Practitioner.  Neil has been a Govenor of Sydney College of Chiropractic for many years as well as being Vice President of the Australian Acupuncture Association. His special areas of interest are sports injuries and the treatment of children and animals!  It is a common sight to see children playing and dogs patiently waiting in line for the next treatment.  Neil’s 3 sons and 3 dogs have certainly given him lots of experience in these areas.  Neil has been the trainer for Sydney school boy rugby teams and is happiest when he is running the side-line or strapping the players at local clubs Newport and Warringah.   Neil is also very involved with Collaroy Surf Club.  Mona Vale Chiropractic Centre supports the Collaroy club and the Beach Sprinting team in particular, with many of the competitors regular attendees at the clinic.
